About the Owner

Sarah Haughey is a Colorado native, born and raised in Denver. After stints on the East and West Coasts, she returned to Denver and has spent much of her time working in the craft beer industry. While beer is a huge passion and a career for Sarah, her biggest love is the outdoors. Finally coming to her senses in 2015, she made the move to the mountains, finding home in Buena Vista, Colorado.

With The Jailhouse, Sarah seeks to create a community space where anyone can feel comfortable grabbing a beer. The rotating selection of taps caters to no one in particular - beer geeks can find something unique, hikers and bikers can refresh after a day on the trail, and ranchers can slug down a cold one, no fuss. At the end of the day, we all just want a beer.
